Notes: Appleton Rebels (35-4) win first-ever state title and advance to Central Plains Regional August 15-19 in Williston, N.D. to face North Dakota state champion in first round on Thurs., Aug. 15 at 5 p.m…Rebels finished runner-up past two seasons and are the first team to play in three straight state Class AAA title games since La Crosse in 1980-82…Rebels are first team to finish undefeated in Class AAA tournament since Appleton Legion in 1990…Rebels have won 26 straight games…Rothschild-Schofield-Weston (27-9) appeared in first Class AAA title game.
