     De Pere made it three straight East Division titles and won its sixth division crown in the last seven years with a 12-0 win at Sturgeon Bay on July 19.

     Also for the third straight year, De Pere will host the American Conference championship game. This year's game will be a rematch of the 2004 title game won by Pulaski in nine innings. The teams will meet on Friday, July 22 at 5:30 p.m. at Mel Nicks Field with the winner hosting the league championship game on Monday. De Pere earned the right to host by virtue of allowing 35 runs in league play compared to 47 by Pulaski.

     De Pere's Brett Yost nearly threw a no-hitter in Tuesday's win at Sturgeon Bay as Danny Hanson broke up the bid with two outs in the bottom of the sixth. The game was shortened to six innings because of the 10-run rule. Every De Pere starter had at least one hit and Jeff Riddle and Dustin Willems were each two-for-four.
