National Conference Holds
Off American in League All-Star Game
The National Conference held off a late American
Conference rally to win the annual Fox River Valley League All-Star game
6-5 on August 21 in Kimberly. Click here

Watertown, Merrill and Viroqua Claim
State Titles
Watertown used a suicide squeeze bunt in the bottom of the
eighth inning to snap De Pere's string of consecutive Class AAA state
titles with a 6-5 victory on Sunday in Chippewa Falls. Meanwhile, Viroqua
captured its second straight Class A title and Merrill rolled to its first
Class AA title in Kimberly.

For the third straight year, 13 Fox River Valley American Legion
Baseball League players are among 54 players selected to the annual Wisconsin
American Legion Baseball all-star game on Sunday, August 14 at Miller Park

Port Capture JV State Titles
The Fox River Valley American Legion League
swept the junior varsity state championships as De Pere won the
17-and-under title and Bay Port clinched the 16-and-under crown on Aug. 2.

Frost Leads Seven
League Individual Award Winners
Pulaski's Adam Frost became the fourth Fox River
Valley American Legion League player since 1990 to capture his division's
individual hitting and pitching awards as seven league players earned

Final State Rankings
Announced
De Pere, Beaver Dam and Viroqua enter the regional
tournaments as the state's top-ranked teams in the final poll of the
regular season. The regional tournaments begin this week.

De Pere Captures
Fourth League Title in Seven Seasons
De Pere captured its fifth Fox River Valley American
Legion League championship, including its fourth in the past seven years
by defeating the Appleton Rebels 6-3 in the title game on July 25 in De
Pere.

off For League Title on Monday
A rematch of last year's Class AAA state
championship game is set for Monday as De Pere hosts the Appleton Rebels
for the Fox River Valley League title at 5:30 p.m. De Pere advanced with a
4-2 win over Pulaski and the Rebels topped New London 12-3.

New London won its first-ever Fox River Valley
American Legion League division title and the Appleton Rebels claimed
their first pennant since 1999 with home victories on Wednesday, July 20.

Straight East Division Title
De Pere made it three straight East Division titles
and won its sixth division crown in the last seven years with a 12-0 win
at Sturgeon Bay on July 19.

Start for North Division Crown
Pulaski was the last team in the North Division to
win a game in the 2005 season, but ended the year as the only team
undefeated in July while claiming its second consecutive division
championship.
