National Conference Holds Off American in League All-Star Game
The National Conference held off a late American Conference rally to win the annual Fox River Valley League All-Star game 6-5 on August 21 in Kimberly. Click here for the boxscore. Also, photos of the teams are posted on the All-Star game page.

Watertown, Merrill and Viroqua Claim State Titles
Watertown used a suicide squeeze bunt in the bottom of the eighth inning to snap De Pere's string of consecutive Class AAA state titles with a 6-5 victory on Sunday in Chippewa Falls. Meanwhile, Viroqua captured its second straight Class A title and Merrill rolled to its first Class AA title in Kimberly. Click here for the state tournament page.
