     Defending Fox River Valley Legion League champion Shawano made it two straight North Division titles after holding off Oconto 8-7 on July 19. Shawano will visit De Pere for the American Conference championship game on July 22.
     Shawano used a five-run third inning to build a 6-0 lead and led 8-1 entering the bottom of the fifth before Oconto scored two in fifth and one in the sixth to cut the lead to 8-4. Oconto added three more runs in the seventh, but Shawano pitcher Levi O'Kimosh worked out of the jam to preserve the win for starter Brandon Emmel.
     Jeff Blumreich and Mike Rickert were both two-for-three and Brett Nelson was two-for-four to lead a 10-hit Shawano attack.
     The two teams will play again on July 20 in Shawano. The defending league champions will take on East Division champion De Pere Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in De Pere for the American Conference title.
