2009 All-Star Game - August 15 at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium The Fox River Valley American Legion League annually holds a league all-star game following the completion of postseason tournaments. Each league coach nominates four players from his team for the all-star game and one or two players from each team are then selected to participate in the game. Coaches are selected on a rotating basis. The teams will be divided between the American Conference and National Conference squads. The game will last nine innings and be followed by the annual league banquet. National Conference Wins Pitchers Dual at FRV All Star Game Menasha's Blake Lornson's RBI fielders choice scored Kyle Mayer of Appleton Legion in the third inning to put the National's up 1-0. Adam Dey of New London belted a solo home run to left field in the fourth inning to extend the lead to 2-0 National Conference lead. The American Conference would tally a run in the fifth on a home run by Jeff Lajuenesse of the Green Bay Blue Jays, cutting the deficit to 2-1. Lajuenesse was named American Conference MVP. The National Conference pitching staff would make the lead last, as Kaukauna's Ryan VandenBerg and Chilton's Aaron Leitner would strike out seven over the next three innings. New London's Mitch Reusch earned the win tossing the middle three innings while allowing one run on one hit and striking out five. Leitner earned the save. Dey would be named National Conference MVP.
