2009 League Standings updated 7/3/09

2009 FRV All Star Game To Be Played
at Fox Cities Stadium August 15.

Game time 11 a.m.  Tickets are $5 and can be purchased the day of the game only.


Awards banquet to be held at Appleton Legion Post 38 following the game.

Week 2 State Rankings
De Pere, Onalaska, and Marathon continue to hold the top ranked teams. Green Bay Southwest moves to #2 in Class AAA. Kimberly ranked #5 in Class AA.

 

Great Performances
July 2: Marinette's Jordan Powers went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Teammate Cody Uecke struck out 10 while allowing two earned runs over seven innings to record the win.

Cullen Buchanan was a combined 4-for-7 with three doubles, five runs scored, and three RBI for Appleton Legion in a double header. Chris Verhyen went 5-for-8 with two double, three runs scored, and five RBI. Steve Lichtfuss added a 5-for-8 performance with a triple, home run, five runs scored, and five RBI.

Waupace overcame a 6-0 second inning deficit edge Seymour 7-6. Casey Nicewander from Waupaca was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Cam Nicewander went t-sor-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

July 1: Joe Betcher of De Pere went 4-for-4 with a double, triple, three runs scored, and two RBI.

Oconto Falls' Les Hilberg was 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and one RBI.

Casey Nicewander was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI for Waupaca.

Marc Shield of the Green Bay Blue Jays was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI. Teammate Adam Wimberly added a 3-for-4 night with one RBI.

June 30: De Pere's Joe Betcher was 2-for-3 with a double, triple, three runs scored, and one RBI.

John Heimbecher was 2-for-3 with a double, home run, and three RBI for Sturgeon Bay.

June 29: Cullen Buchanan was 2-for-3 with a double, run scored, and four RBI for Appleton Legion.

Hortonville's Mike Boushley struck out 12.

June 28: Erik Lardinois was 4-for-4 with five RBI for Sturgeon Bay. Teammate John Heimbecher went 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI.
