2010 League Standings

Popelka Named State All Star MVP Award
Ryan Popelka of White Lake was named the MVP at the W.A.L.B.A. All Star Game on August 8th. Popelka singled in the tying run in the eight inning, then singled in an insurance run in the ninth as the North squad came back to defeat the South 13-10.

Menasha's Adam Grambow was the winning pitcher, tossing a scoreless eight innings. Max Frederick of New London earned the save, striking out two in the ninth.

This marks the second consecutive year that a player from the FRV League has won the state MVP award. In 2009 Cullen Buchanan of Appleton Legion took home the honors.

Bay Port wins 17-Under State Championship, defeating Beloit twice on July 27th.

Kimberly Takes South Division
With the win on July 17 at Hortonville, Kimberly claims their first South Division Championship since the 2007 season.

Menominee Claims North Division
With a 10-0 win over Peshtigo on July 16, Menominee won their second North Division Championship in the past three seasons.

Northern Door Wins East on Tie Breaker
Northern Door won the tie breaker over Kewaunee County and Wrightstown by allowing fewer runs in league play.

GB Southwest Wins Central Division
Green Bay Southwest claimed their first FRV Division Championship since 2004 with a 7-3 win over Manitowoc July 8th.
